Hippi is now Finnish champion!

Hippi made it, she got 1st prize in hunting trial and finished several CH-titles - most important C.I.B and Finnish champion!

Well done, she proved to be more than just a beauty queen ;) My biggest thanks to Hippi's co-owner, my father, who takes her hunting and to trials and alos to Hippi's breeder, Anne Lehto!!

Jubilee Show 2011 - Welsh Corgi specialty

We spend a very nice Saturday  in Lohja, where was held the annual corgi specialty. Our team participating was Nicki, Hilma, Nuka & Nita.

I must say, that I'm very pleased with our results:
Nicki, 3rd in baby bitches
Hilma: very good, but ok critique
Nuka: winner in champion class with CQ
Nita: 4th in champion class with CQ
Nuka was also shown in kennel Annline's breeder class that was BIS!

On Sunday it was Puppy show in the same place. Nicki placed 2nd in baby bitches (out of 5)!

Nita gained two new champion titles!

We took a journey with Anne & her dogs and Nita  to two shows, first in Latvia and then in Lithuania. We did'nt have that much success as in my opinion Nita should have had, but who cares... She got the CAC's needed and finished her Latvian and Lithuanian Champion titles!

Anne's dogs did very well ajd they got several new titles as well. Especilally happy I am about Sissi and Urho :)

Drever specialty

We spend a very nice day in drever specialty with Hippi and Retu. I was very happy that rhe show committee had invited a special judge Håkan Hädekäll from Sweden to judge our dogs.

It was Retu's last show, and boy, did he do well! He took BIS-veteran and BM-4 :) I was so so happy! 

Hippi got her first VG, but it was very well justified.

Happy Birthday to our grand old man! Retu is still going strong, just with more and more gray in his coat <3

WDS Paris 2011

We had a really nice trip to Paris in July! Thanks to our lovely companion: Kirsi, Satu, Jonna, Anne and all the others in the bus! Yep, we went by bus, and it was quite a long time to travel, but we made it there... And also back home!

We had one free day to have a look at Paris... So much to see, but so little time! All other days we spend at the dog show!

On friday it was Championat de France show with corgies. Nita left her coat in Finland, so nothing for us there, but I saw few pretty nice dogs there :) On saturday it was WDS for corgies and Championat for drevers. Hippi did well, she took Best Of Breed with CAC! On sunday Hippi continued her success by taking BOB, CAC & CACIB and World Winner-11 title in WDS! Her kids did well too, both World Junior Winners and Unski BOB-junior. They are pretty fantastic kids, I'd say!
